We are all puppets on a string.
This is something that the young vampire Chris Colt will realize during his second school year at 'The Immortals' Academy for Supernatural Mythological Creatures.
Things start to get quite serious with the arrival of a new and powerful messenger of the past who is looking for revenge for what was done to him by the Immortal King at the time.
Chris has other headaches as well: the dark temptress Mariya-Elena has started to draw the boy into her web, all the while he's trying to restore his friendship with the others from the group. His new roommate will turn out to be the key to doing that.
In the meantime, deep below the Academy, an ancient being awaits the release from its prison in order to cleanse the Earth of all of God's creations.
Things are bound to get even worse, as there is nobody that's able to stop the creature and what it's about to do.

This is an ancient proverb that’s still being passed on in ‘The Immortals’ Academy of Supernatural Mythological Beings. And it certainly applies to young Chris Colt, who was able to find his untimely death during his first year in the Academy. Now it’s time for the boy to come back for his second chance and live his new life.
The Queen - Mariya-Elena - is now walking free, and appears to be hiding some truths from Alexsander, who blindly trusts her. Chris’ old nightmares come back, and he finds out that a good friend from his mortal life is in grave danger. Gathering up with his friends in Cortland, they take off on a rescue mission.
Will they make it out alive out of this adventure, or will the wrath of God’s Warriors be brought upon their heads? And how will Chris react to the surprise that destiny has in store for him?

Life isn't always wonderful.
If you don't believe that, simply ask Chris Colt. Within the span of a few months, his life got flipped on its head. The lone survivor of a tragic plane crash, and under very mysterious circumstances, Chris is now living with his brother Matt in a small town named Cortland. Just two weeks after his arrival home, strange things start to happen, and Chris' dreams won't stop haunting him.
Death takes its toll yet again in the abandoned town fair. This only proves to Chris that destiny isn't on his side at all. Left alone with no support, he starts planning for a way out of his situation. Or at least he tries to until he receives an interesting email invitation that he takes as a joke. In it, he gets invited to enroll in an Academy, which isn't like the other ones around the world. People with special gifts go there.
It is in this Academy that Chris is able to find new love, new friends, a new family, to fill the abyss left after he lost his old ones in Cortland. The idyll, however, is quickly spoiled by Alexsander, the older vampire in history, and the headmaster of the Academy. The task he gives to Chris might be the last one in his life, but why might that be?
